Pit Bulls have a smooth, shorthaired coat, which is easy to groom. You are recommended to brush your pet's coat regularly with a firm bristle brush, and bathe or dry shampoo as necessary. A rub with a piece of toweling or chamois will make the coat shine with health. This breed is an average shedder.
Pit Bulls will do okay in an apartment if they are sufficiently exercised. Their owners should not forget that
they are very energetic dogs that are active indoors. They prefer warm climates. These dogs should receive plenty of regular exercise. However, it is necessary to keep them leashed in public to avoid fights with other dogs.
