Pit bulls are the dogs that have been bred according to a purpose. Pit bulls are tough and intelligent animals. They were bred for a willingness to test their strength and mettle against larger and stronger animals, as well as against each other. An adult dog of this breed tends to be aggressive and quarrelsome towards other dogs.
These dogs stand out as the breed of a great power, passion, and willingness. Pit bulls have a brick-like head with the powerful jaws. Their well-defined neck is thickly muscled. The chest is deep, thick, and well sprung.
Muscular, stocky, and agile dogs, they provide an impression of immense strength and determination. The dog's eyes are round, and any color of the eyes is acceptable. The teeth should meet in a scissors bite. The dog's coat is thick and short. The tail tapers to a point.

Many Pit Bull breeders and owners claim that the temperament of the dog much depends on how you raise it. Firm and fair training is likely to make a well-behaved dog out of a puppy.
